Aeshna affinis.  (Vander Linden, 1820).  Blue-eyed Hawker.

Less common, but similar in size and build to A. mixta but the blue markings

on the male are brighter and more prominent. The female has yellow markings

on a brown abdomen. The pterostigma is brown and relatively long.
