A common and large aeshnid of African origin. Photos feature a

patrolling mature male, with green to blue eyes, all green thorax, blue abdomen,

and the characteristic downward curve of the abdomen.

    I see that you now have videos! Great addition to the website! I’m just curious: What is that dragonfly doing? I guess she is laying eggs (ovipositing) and he is just protecting her from other males!
