The Greek Rock Lizared is endemic to the Greek mainland and foundonly in the Peloponnese, where it favours streams, ponds, and edges of light woodland.An agile species some 6 inches in length and although has been considered a commspecies it has been listed as vulnerable. It has a glossy greyish-brown body, with dark spots on top, and cream spots on its sides.
