Onychogomphus forcipatus

Onychogomphus forcipatus.   (Linnaeus, 1759).   Small Pincertail.

This is the most widespread of its species, being medium-large, bright, yellow marked, with pale green eyes. The male displays a distinctive ‘pincertail’ appendage, often raised when perched, with the female abdomen broader, with more extensive markings.
