Ophrys persephonae.

A rare, eastern Mediterranean taxon in the blitopertha group, and found

in Rhodes, Chios and Samos. A short, robust plant with often horizontal flowers and a

yellow to orange border with a deep V at its base. This site is in open pinewoods.
