Orchis troodi

Variously considered a ssp. of Orchis anatolica, Delforge, and later authors,

have confirmed this species as an endemic of the Troodos mountains of Cyprus.

Found in pine and at the edge of forest areas it is usually less purple with the

spur more vertical than its counterpart.
