Sympecma fusca. (Vander Linden. 1820). Common Winter Damsel.
It is found throughout Europe and North Africa, with no records from the
UK. Seen throughout the year in the south of its range, it has blue eyes
a long brown pterostigma and can be described as ‘dainty and drab’.
