Aeshna mixta.

Aeshna mixta.  (Latreille, 1805).  Migrant Hawker.

Found throughout Europe this is the commonest small hawker.

The male has distinctive blue abdominal markings, where the

immature male and female is white to yellow on a brown abdomen.
